An ideal base for families & friends enjoying the Snowy Mountains region The space This cosy, warm and clean log cabin home is the ideal place to enjoy the Snowy Mountains area or relax in the quiet surrounds of Anglers Reach. It is an ideal base for families, friends and anyone interested in a unspoilt natural setting, outdoor adventure, and of course fishing. The home sleeps 6 - 8 people. Bedroom 1: 1 x Queen Bed Bedroom 2: 1 x Queen Bed Bedroom 3: 2 x King Singles and 2 x King Single trundle beds (set up on request) The house is set on the shores of Lake Eucumbene, the ideal spot for you to fish, see plenty of wildlife or take it all in surrounding a warm campfire. All linen and towels are provided. Fast wifi is available within the home. Wood for the slow combustion heater is provided. Reverse cycle air conditioning units are also installed to cool the summer heat and warm the winter chill. Cleaning is provided at the end of your stay. The house is perfect for families and friends who want to ski, fish, bushwalk or enjoy the natural setting. Fishing on Lake Eucumbene in front of the house is very successful, additionally there are 4 boat ramps within a stones throw of the house providing access to Providence Arm (one of the most prolific fishing areas in Lake Eucumbene). It regularly snows at the house and there is nothing more wonderful waking up to a white blanket covering the surrounding landscape. The house is family friendly, with children's toys, board games and DVDs available. A portacot, high chair and baby gate is also provided. The ways to spend your days are endless: fishing, country drives, wildlife spotting, bush walking, skiing, or reading by the fire. You'll love the balcony the most, relax and watch the wonderful scenery across uninterrupted views of Lake Eucumbene. Sunsets are truly magical, as are the stars on a clear night. Adaminaby, the closest town, is 15mins away - ideal for a treat at the bakery, a meal out, petrol, fishing supplies, ski hire, playground and grocery essentials. Cooma is 45 mins away with local shops and attractions, as well a major supermarkets including Woolies, Coles & Aldi. Mt Selwyn is approximately 40 mins away from the house. Snow chains are usually required in winter to access the snow, please check TfNSW and NPWS websites for up to date information. Yarrangobilly caves is a must visit with many guided and self guided limestone caves as well as historical locations and stories from the early settlers. And of course there's the thermal pool - bring your swimmers, it's great all year round Jindabyne, Thredbo & Perisher are approximately 1.25 hours away.
