Description

Cozy 450 sq ft 1-bedroom with everything you need and nothing you don't. This private access unit has a newly renovated bathroom and kitchen. Located near downtown Pittsburgh but in a suburban-feeling neighborhood. Walking distance from a grocery store, some great local food options, and the public transit right at your door. Free and easy parking readily available. An affordable and comfortable way to experience the Burgh! The space - 5 min drive from downtown Pittsburgh, including Heinz Field, PPG Paints Arena, & PNC Park - Immediately off of the T line, Pittsburgh's light rail system. If you are attending a concert or sporting event downtown, you DEFINITELY want to ride the T to (1) save money on overinflated event parking costs and (2) save time that you would be stuck in traffic if you were to drive! - Stainless steel appliances - Newly renovated kitchen and bathroom - Brand new Nectar brand mattress for an extremely comfortable night's sleep - Plenty of free parking - Fully stocked kitchen. Anything and everything you could need to cook with This well-outfitted 1-bedroom for 1-2 travelers (or longer-term stay working professionals!) is an affordable and convenient way to experience Pittsburgh. The newly remodeled bathroom and kitchen promise to make your stay sleek, stylish, and comfortable. Street parking is a BREEZE (the spaces are huge, so even if you're not accustomed to parallel parking, you'll be just fine), and while the neighborhood is friendly and quiet, it's located less than 5 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. Living Room: A striking combination of new furnishings and vintage/antique/upcycled/locally sourced finds, you will enjoy lounging in this bohemian dream space, whether planning your visit to the city in the mornings or resting your feet afterward. The smart TV makes it easy to stream from all of your favorite subscriptions. There is a dining table that doubles as a desk if you have any catching up on work to do! Kitchen: This kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need! There is plenty of fridge space to keep beverages cold, store leftover takeout, or keep the produce you picked up in the Strip District super fresh. Brand new stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher!) make for a seamless experience, plus there is an abundance of countertop space for meal preparation. Bedroom: Full-sized bed with brand-new Nectar brand mattress. Blackout curtains, ear plugs, and a white noise machine are provided to help support a restful night's sleep. 42” smart TV - articulate mount on left wall. NOTE: the trolley going by, plus being located on a slightly busier-than-average neighborhood intersection creates some background noise, so very light sleepers may want to consider booking elsewhere. Bathroom: Spacious and newly renovated! Recently added a hot towel warmer and bath and body works collection. NOTE: NO SMOKING is tolerated. A $250 fine will be applied for any kind of smoke whatsoever. Guest access Parking: You'll have an easy time finding a parking spot on Broadway, and the parallel parking spaces are HUGE. Please message me with your license plate number and state so I can register you for a free guest pass. Public Transportation: The easiest access to Pittsburgh's rail line, the T. In just 10 minutes, you can ride into popular destinations like Station Square, Downtown, or the North Shore where PNC Park and Heinz Field are located (a.k.a. no one has to designated drive!) Riding the T is $2.75 each way, and please note they do not make change on the T! I suggest stopping into the IGA market to get some $1 bills before boarding. Walking: The BEST tacos in Pittsburgh are at Las Palmas, which is a 2-minute walk from the apartment. Other fantastic food options include Slice Pizza and my personal favorite, Chicken Latino (authentic Peruvian rotisserie chicken meals). All 3 options are local small businesses, and less than 5 minutes' walking distance away. If the weather is nice, main street Dormont is a 20-minute walk away. There are 2 coffee shops, a Thai place, a Greek place, an Italian place, an American bar and grill, another pizza place, a pool hall, a crystal shop, a home decor gift shop, and most importantly Dor-Stop, a Pittsburgh classic that was featured on the Food Network show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Other things to note NOTE: The trolley going by, plus being located on a slightly busier-than-average neighborhood intersection creates some background noise, so very light sleepers may want to consider booking elsewhere. White noise machine and earplugs are provided. NOTE: This unit is located on the first floor of an apartment building. You might hear the upstairs neighbors during your stay.
