The Stables is a bright Architect designed Barn Conversion set in the Hertfordshire village of Breachwood Green. A self contained Barn on the same plot as the Host. Perfect for walking, cycling, or Airport related stay . Luton Airport, Harpenden, Hitchin stations are all 15-20 minutes away with easy access to the airport and London. Typical taxi fare to Airport is £15-20. The Stables has two large bedrooms, large lounge and kitchen. Vaulted ceilings throughout make for an airy feel. The space The Barn is beautifully furnished and decorated to a high standard. The main living area has a large oversized corner sofa perfect for snuggling up in front of the wood burning stove (some logs provided) and watching a film on the 55 inch TV (it is not a sofa bed and we would prefer people don’t sleep on it). Board games are available. The main living area has a bespoke dining table and chairs for six. The living area leads to a separate kitchen which is fully equipped with a gas range with double electric ovens, dishwasher, microwave, Smeg fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a further four seater kitchen table here. The long hallway leads to an exceptionally large bedroom that has a separate shower, freestanding bath, twin basins, twin toilets and a super-king sized bed. There is a separate seating area in the bedroom that is also ideal for exercising and some equipment is available (bike, kettlebells, sandbags, skipping rope and yoga mat). Also off the hallway is the second double bedroom with its own bathroom (there is no shower in this en-suite, only a bath). The Barn has a great wi fi connection with good speed. A built in desk area in the main bedroom makes working from here a distinct possibility. The outside area has several tables and chairs where you can enjoy breakfast or an evening drink by the fire pit or pond area. Guest access Access to the Barn is down a gravel drive adjacent/shared with the host. It is always open, and very easy to drive down. The entire self-contained accommodation has ample parking facilities for at least 3 cars. Our guests will have their own key and full access to the whole Barn. The whole property is wheelchair accessible (although the shower and bath facilities have not been adapted); we are happy to discuss this further. Other things to note A free welcome pack is available on request (Tea, Coffee, milk, bread items, orange juice, cereals). Please note this property is close to the Luton Airport and flight noise may be heard. There's a local pub in the village, called the Red Lion, which is a few hundred metres away, serving pub food. The village also has a recreation ground with Tennis Courts, small play area for children and MUGA (multi use games area). The property is close to the market towns of St Albans, Hitchin and Harpenden. Visit nearby Luton Hoo, Hatfield House, Whipsnade Zoo, Woburn Safari Park, Bletchley Park, St Albans or walk/cycle the 7 mile Nickey Line linking Harpenden/Redbourn/Hemel Hempstead.
