The space La Finestrella is a room, not an apartment — but it is something special. It was created in the space of the old hay barn, and its original windows are still there, quietly preserving the memory of what once was. The furnishings are modern and carefully designed, and the private bathroom has everything you need: shower, bathrobes, and hairdryer. The balcony overlooks the countryside and the orchards — in the morning, it is the perfect spot for your first coffee. There is no kitchen: if you don’t need one but are looking for an authentic place to sleep well, wake up slowly, and enjoy breakfast with our organic products, La Finestrella is the right choice. We also have a small farm shop where you can purchase not only our own products, but also selected specialties from trusted local farms whose quality we personally guarantee. Thanks to our collaboration with these producers, we can also offer “Picnic” baskets to enjoy in the open spaces of Bargiolina or during your excursions. During your stay We love helping our guests discover the beautiful area surrounding us. Our agriturismo is set in a peaceful hillside location on Montebracco. The access road is paved. A car is recommended for getting around, but hiking and mountain bike trails start directly from the property. Nearby: the Abbey of Staffarda, the Castle of Manta, and Balma Boves. The Langhe hills and the city of Turin are less than one hour away. In winter, skiing is available in Crissolo and Pian Munè; in summer, you can cool off in the natural mountain streams. Other things to note We love introducing our guests to our way of life and, above all, to the surrounding area — one of the main reasons why people choose to return. Bargiolina is located on the Montebracco hillside, at the foot of Monviso, in a region rich in history and culture. Just a few kilometres from the farmhouse, you can visit the Abbey of Staffarda, the Castle of Manta, and the ancient rock village of Balma Boves — all places that tell centuries of history and are well worth a half-day visit each. For those who enjoy being active, we highly recommend exploring the many hiking routes starting directly from the property, either on foot or by bike. In the Po and Infernotto valleys, there are countless mountain trails suitable for all levels. On site, you will find bicycle rental, including e-MTBs for the hills, as well as a small equipped storage area where you can safely leave your bikes and carry out minor repairs. In winter, the ski slopes of Crissolo and Pian Munè are just a 30-minute drive away. In summer, the natural mountain pools known as “tumpi” are the perfect way to cool off after a hike. Cities such as Turin and the Langhe hills can be reached in just under an hour — ideal for a day among museums, wineries, and restaurants, before returning in the evening to the silence of the farmhouse. We are an active working farm: you may hear the sounds of the countryside and meet our dogs and farm animals. The access road is paved all the way to the property, but a car is recommended for getting around the area.
