The Heron's Perch

Hidden from all others, with a view over and access into ancient wilderness, welcome to our little valley. This is a back-to-basics getaway to disconnect from busy-ness and reconnect with yourself and nature. There is a double bed (and two optional singles), a simple, rustic outdoor kitchen and a hot, outdoor shower with a ranging view. There is 50 acres of wild woodland to explore with river and spring-fed pond (for those who like a cold dip). NB, phone & internet access is limited ! The space The yurt is 19ft in diameter and is equipped with a wood-burning stove. We will provide firewood. There is a large deck with a spectacular view over the valley, as well as a rustic, basic outdoor kitchen. Tucked in the copse behind the yurt is a compost toilet and a bespoke outdoor shower with wide views across the the forest. Follow the willow tunnel and you’ll find the beautiful fire pit. With only the forest on sight it’s a good place to sit and have a drink or even a little bbq. Guest access Guests have access to the yurt and all amenities there as well as right to roam through the woodland and swim in the river and pond. Other things to note We are two families living on the property and have three young children between us. The yurt is well away from our houses and in its own place of tranquility, but please come with a respectful and nurturing attitude towards the children. Make sure to bring some food supplies with you - we are a fair way from any shops! The closest shop is Nisa Local in Llandysul which is about a 15 minute drive.
