Gus’s Island Getaway, Bembridge

There’s something for everyone at Gus’s Island Getaway. A holiday park on the Bay with a beautiful secluded clean safe beach and the Coastal Path running above it. Plentiful activities for the children, endless country walks, sightseeing and red squirrel watching, festivals galore and, of course, a unique Island climate. Your Getaway has wonderful dreamy views over quaint Bembridge airport and is only a few minutes drive from Bembridge and Sandown with it’s classic Pier and beach activities. The space A static caravan with three bedrooms; two twins and one double with en-suite. There is also a foldout double in the sitting room; full bedding provided. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, microwave, double oven and enough tableware for eight. The indoor table seats four. The outside table seats six and has a parasol. It is wonderful for outdoor dining. The deck wraps around on two sides and there is also a storage bench which offers additional seating. A latched gate offers some protection for little ones, two legs and four…but do bring your own safety measures. Parking is beside the ‘van and also across the driveway (which is a no through road). It’s possible to get two vehicles on my plot but i’d rather preserve the grass. You’ll find parking anyway, no probs. And then there’s more space for the kids to have fun rolling down the slope! Gas bottles are checked after each guest checkout but if you should run out, please advise reception. Guest access The place is all yours. Access from key lockbox, code given on arrival. Discount ferry rates sometimes available dependant on ferry route and availability; please request on booking. Other things to note We do not provide towels and therefore advise that you should bring your own. We leave some cleaning products for those little unexpected accidents. Stays of 4 days or more will receive a welcome pack. The deck is quite a sun trap and can get very hot. PLEASE do not feed your dogs on the carpet . But, f your furry friend wants to cuddle on the couch, please kindly bring them their favourite blankets/covers to lay on! 🐶 There is no guarantee that I will have some spares!!! However, please feel free to use whatever is available in the pet cupboard.
