Other things to note The city of Faro has a Municipal Tourist Tax for each night's stay and per person up to a maximum of 7 nights in the amount of €2 per person in the months of March 1st to October 31st and €1.5 per person from November 1st to February 28th. Excluded from the fee are residents of the municipality of Faro, children under 16 years of age, and accommodation for medical treatment (upon proof of appointment).
