Georgian Bay Cottage with Open Water Views.

Located in the Manitou/Sans Souci area of Georgian Bay! Great for a chance to spend time with your family in an awe-inspiring landscape accessed exclusively by boat. A true getaway! A beautiful pine paneled cottage with 3 bedrooms and an amazing wrap around deck. Gorgeous rocks and pine trees plus open water views and incredible sunsets! The space The cottage is located on Georgian Bay, Starvation Bay, at the edge of a land preservation/Crown Land. Perfect for a solo, couple or family get-away, it is a delight for those who seek an authentic Georgian Bay island experience who want to leave behind stores, shopping, cars, and the urban world. The cottage is remote and on an island so it is an approximately $160 boat ride each way via taxi. The boat can usually fit a family of four or more with all their gear. The marina fee is $10/day. There are no cars and stores. Utilities : Our cottage has hydro/electricity and is on a septic tank (please don't flush anything other than human waste and toilet paper!). We have purified filtered drinkable water. In the kitchen, there is a standard size fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. We have a laundry room for your use. There is also a BBQ is on the deck. Most cellphones will have signal coverage. Some things about our cottage, so there are no surprises: it is a very unique property, it is boat-access only, cars are left at the marina, so no grocery stores or shopping, other than the small stores at the Moose Deer Point Marina or Sans Souci Marina. You are always welcome to go to and from using the taxi service at the given fee or use your own boat. To get around, there are two kayaks (bring your own life jackets) that you can use to venture out to neighbouring islands or the back bays, which are fish preserves and Crown Land. The island itself is a perfect example of Canadian Shield rock and windswept pines. Other things to note Please note that this cottage can only be reached by boat. There are no roads to the cottage. The closest marina is Mouse Deer Point Marina and you can get a water taxi from there or bring your own boat.
