B&B on farm near D-Day beaches - Chambre Tulipe

Breakfast included! Welcome to La Ferme du Pressoir! This working farm has been in our family for generations. Relax in your charming room, one of three in the remodeled stone cottage on the farm. Start your mornings with our famous hearty breakfast, spend your days visiting the D-Day beaches and WWII sites, Bayeux, Caen, Mont Saint-Michel...then return to the tranquility of the farm and garden filled with birdsong.... The space Our B&B rooms are housed in a freestanding stone building on the farm. The entrance opens to a common room shared with other B&B guests. Your room, La Chambre Tulipe, is on the ground floor, with a tile floor, and furnished with antiques from the area. Your private bathroom (toilet, sink, and shower) is en suite. There is one double bed (160cm wide/5 feet wide). French doors from your room open directly onto the terrace. Guest access Upon entering the B&B building, you come upon the common room, where breakfast is served at the long farmhouse table each morning. There is also an info corner with brochures of sites and attractions, and a sitting area for planning your activities, as well as a television. A small kitchenette is primarily used for preparing and storing breakfast items, but is available for your use as well. A dining table just outside on the terrace is at your disposal, overlooking the fruit trees and field. Lounge chairs are available for relaxing in the sun. A swingset and toys are available for the kids. You can visit the goats, sheep, horses, and chickens as well! During your stay I am French and my English is not very good, but we always manage to communicate! In 18 years of operating a B&B business I have hosted many, many English-speakers, to overwhelmingly glowing reviews. 2023 is my first time listing La Chambre Tulipe on AirBnB; you can find reviews by past AirBnB guests for my other rooms, and also on other internet platforms. Other things to note An all-you-can-eat breakfast is included in the price of your room. We are famous for our hearty farmhouse breakfasts, which may include an assortment of baked goods, bread, cheese, meat, eggs, yogurt, cereal, fruit...as well as coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice... Please note, the wifi signal is strongest in the common area. Our thick stone walls sometimes prevent the wifi from reaching all parts of the building. Finally, please note that we are located just outside of Villers-Bocage. Do not confuse us with another gîte with the same name, La Ferme du Pressoir, located in Conteville. The owner’s name there is also coincidentally Odile.
