Villa Tranquila is a secluded luxury retreat set in lush gardens with panoramic views of Atenas’ rolling hills and the Poás Volcano. The villa offers four elegant bedrooms (seven beds, sleeps up to eight), each with a spa-style bath and tropical shower. Outdoor living shines with a saltwater pool and expansive rancho featuring a firepit, dining table, 65” TV, fridge, and BBQ. A dedicated office and fiber-optic Wi-Fi completes the experience. The space Situated in Costa Rica’s Central Valley, the villa is surrounded by the peaceful sights and sounds of nature, from lush greenery to the calls of tropical birds. Built in 2023, the home was professionally designed, constructed, and furnished with comfort and families in mind. The expansive covered patio—complete with ceiling fans and inviting outdoor seating—is an ideal spot to enjoy morning coffee while taking in the tranquil setting. Inside, the villa offers four ensuite bedrooms. Three feature private tropical outdoor showers, while the fourth includes an indoor shower and soaking tub. All beds and most furnishings were locally crafted in Costa Rica. In the back garden, early risers are often rewarded with the sight and sound of toucans perched in neighboring trees. The spacious living area includes a plush sofa, large flat-screen TV, pool table, and bar area stocked with board and card games—perfect for relaxed evenings together. A separate, air-conditioned office provides a desk, sofa, fiber-optic internet, Wi-Fi printer, and a quiet space to work or unwind. The fully equipped kitchen is designed for home chefs, featuring a Vitamix blender, French press and drip coffee makers, rice cooker, toaster, quality knives, cookware, flatware, glassware, and more. An oversized sink, dishwasher, and filtered tap water make cleanup effortless. For families traveling with young children, a Graco Pack-n-Play with integrated infant bassinet and changer is also available.
