Built in 2022 on the exact footprint of the antique house that stood here, keeping its original fireplace, chimney, floorboards and beams. A full kitchen with a four burner gas range, full fridge and dishwasher, a full bath with shower, a dedicated workspace, and sliding doors to your own patio with a wood burning fire pit. Sleeps four. No cleaning fee. The space The Garden Cottages sit at Kent Station, the part of the village once called the beehive because something was always happening, and still is. The restaurant next door has live music, the town library is across the street, and Kent's shops and restaurants are a two minute walk. In true rail station fashion, a freight train rumbles by now and then. Each cottage has its own patio with a wood burning fire pit and Adirondack chairs. Family friendly and pet friendly. No cleaning fee. Guest access The whole cottage is yours, including the patio and fire pit. Self check in with a keypad. Free parking at the cottage. Other things to note Weekends from late September through October carry a two night minimum. Pets are welcome. Trains pass occasionally; light sleepers should know. Guests must be 21 or older to reserve and check in. Kent's restaurants, shops and galleries are a two minute walk; the Appalachian Trail, Kent Falls and the Housatonic are minutes away.
