Cozy room located inside the Kugy Refuge, in the heart of Valbruna. Attic and on the 2nd floor, it is ideal for hikers and families, close to the services of the village. It enjoys a beautiful view of the Julian Alps and is perfect for relaxing after outdoor activities, such as walks in Val Saisera, mountain hikes or rides on the Alpe Adria cycle path. Excellent base for exploring the Val Saisera, the Fusine Lakes, Monte Lussari, Tarvisio and for excursions in Austria and Slovenia. Ideal for those looking for nature and tranquility, you will feel far from the world, but close to everything. The space You will stay in a room on the top floor of the Kugy Refuge, a structure of the Italian Alpine Club, located on a quiet street in the center of the village of Valbruna. The room offers a beautiful panoramic view of the majestic Julian Alps, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere thanks to the exposed dark wooden beams and high ceilings. The environment is cozy and intimate, ideal for those looking for tranquility and contact with nature. Although simple and small in size, the room is enriched with carefully crafted details, such as the blackout curtains decorated with edelweiss, which recall the typical atmosphere of the mountain. Note that there is no elevator or TV, but the room is perfect for a stay immersed in alpine serenity. Guest access Guests can access the breakfast room from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. for a buffet breakfast during opening hours, at a cost of 10 euros per person, by booking it the night before. If the breakfast room is closed, you will find a complimentary mini breakfast in your room. The restaurant of the refuge is accessible on opening days, generally during the summer season. It is open for dinner in June and September on Fridays and Saturdays, and every day except Tuesdays in July and August. For updates on the opening of the restaurant, follow the posts published on the Facebook page "Rifugio Kugy" and on Instagram. Reservations are recommended. In summer, guests can enjoy a beautiful garden with a wooden terrace, ideal for sipping a drink. During your stay If you need anything, you can contact us through the Airbnb platform or at the phone number provided at the time of booking, where Barbara will answer. Other things to note Upon your arrival, you will be given a couple of keys to access the shelter. We kindly ask you to always lock the front door, both when you leave and when you return, to ensure the safety of all guests. Check-out is by 10.00 am. At the time of departure, we invite you to leave the keys inserted in the lock of the front door. To access the upper floors of the shelter, where the rooms are located, it is mandatory to remove shoes and boots, as is customary in mountain shelters. At the entrance you will find a shelf where you can store them. You can use the slippers provided or bring your own.
