Renovated traditional barn in the picturesque village of Monyash, on the edge of the dramatic Lathkill Dale, in the very heart of the Peak District. Minutes from Bakewell and Buxton. The Shippon has 3 large double bedrooms, a flexi-room that can be used as a bedroom or TV-room depending on guest needs; two full bathrooms, a great kitchen linked to dining room, and a separate lounge with OLED TV, and Sonos speakers throughout. Courtyard and paddock gardens with seating. Parking is on-site. The space Ground floor has the kitchen, dining room and utility room at one end. The wet room is off the entrance hallway and a snug and living room make-up the rest of the ground floor. The snug is a flexible space containing a Murphy bunk-bed (2 full-size single beds) so that it can be used as an additional bedroom or if the additional beds are not needed then it provides a separate room for children to play board games or watch their TV-choices. Upstairs are three bedrooms. Bedroom #1 is the largest with a Super King-sized bed and a single bed. The bathroom is off the landing. Bedroom #2 is the bedroom nearest to the bathroom with a King-sized bed. Bedroom #3 is down a corridor beyond bedroom #2 with a King-sized bed. Guest access Shippon guests have access to the whole of the property. They also have two gardens with outside seating. The courtyard garden has “lounge” seating and a dining area whilst the paddock garden on the gable end of the Shippon has a small patio with seating. Guests with dogs are encouraged to keep them in the paddock garden when they are outside or in the paddock itself if we don’t have sheep in it during their stay.
