You’ll share the kitchen and bathroom with two traveling professionals who are only there part-time — making this a peaceful, low-traffic home base. Dannemora is a safe, walkable village with local shops, dining, and conveniences just steps away. The building sits across from Clinton Correctional Facility, a well-known local landmark. The space The house was built in 1900 by the Manion family. Mr Manion was a pharmacist and ran his business out of the retail space which is now the liquor store. The rest of the 10,000 square foot home was for the family. This beautiful old building has served the community well over the years. Dannemora is an interesting town that was home to many Ore Miners in its early days and now is probably best known as the home of Clinton Correctional Facility and interestingly we sit right across from it. With its unique wall and guards on the towers there is probably no safer place on the planet. Dannemora is a very small town but also central to anything you would like to enjoy in the Adirondacks.
