Located close to the Scottish Borders, Hadrian's Wall, the historic city of Carlisle and within an hours drive of the Lake District. The space Fern Barn Cottages nestle in the grounds of the owners listed mill house amongst perfectly manicured gardens and on the banks of the Carwinley Beck meandering through the grounds. Tucked away from the crowds Fern Barn Cottages is perfect for a romantic getaway at any time of year where couples can enjoy hand in hand walks along the quiet country roads or simply snuggle up in front of the TV after a relaxing afternoon in the hot tub whilst sipping champagne. The 5 individually styled cottages offer luxurious accommodation with their own private patio area and hot tub. Larger groups can rent the 5 cottages together (Beckside Cottage, The Heronry, The Snug, Reflection and The Chard) giving each couple their own unique space but close enough to enjoy each others company. Guest access The cosy open plan lounge/kitchen/bedroom has everything needed to enjoy a romantic away from it all break with electric heating and comprises. Lounge with TV and DVD player. Kitchen with Belfast sink, fridge, microwave, toaster and portable induction hob. Double bed. Wet room with shower, hand basin and WC. Outside patio with seating overlooking the beck, cold water shower and hot tub. All oil, electric, bed linen and towels included. Parking for 1 car. Private patio area with hot tub and shared use of the communal grounds. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: The hot tub is emptied and cleaned between guests so may not be up to full temperature on arrival.
