Casa la Torre is a unique and suggestive accommodation completely covered in original stone, recently renovated from a tower dating back to the 17th century with a private Garden and Wifi Traveling along the suggestive road that goes up to the ancient village of Santa Luce, we find the homonymous lake, a natural oasis, nestled among the gentle Pisan hills; Overlooking this characteristic landscape of the Tuscan hills stands our structure, located in a small village with a shared swimming pool. The space Recently renovated and immersed in the hills of Santa Luce, the accommodation is located within a complex created from a former convent. The complex has free parking and a shared swimming pool. The house is spread over three floors: on the ground floor it is made up of a double room with cooking area, a further living room with a typical original fireplace and 1 bathroom with shower; on the 1st floor there are 3 large bedrooms, two with two double beds and one with two single beds, 1 bathroom with tub; Upstairs we find the suggestive and unique tower restored in a single large room of 40 square meters with two sofa beds and with the typical "apse" windows that project onto the surrounding hills and also onto the lake of Santa Luce. Guest access Guests of the Casa la Torre will have independent access to the structure through the Self check-in, which starting from 3.00pm, will allow you to manage your trip and your arrival as you prefere. Other things to note Borgo la Torre is about 5 minutes by car from the charming and ancient town of Santa luce, 20 minutes by car from the sea and about 30 minutes by car from Pisa and its international airport. Santa Luce is immersed in the Pisan hills, a few kilometers from the coast and dotted with fields of wheat and olive trees that stretch as far as the eye can see. In spring it is tinged with intense lilac and filled with the intense scent of lavender in bloom. The main centre is clearly of medieval origin, the town has preserved the plan of an ancient feudal village tightened in circles around its castle. Santa Luce is located in the hinterland of the Etruscan Coast, a landscape that inspired the Macchiaioli painters. The Oasis of Santa Luce, for example, is the demonstration that luckily sometimes nature beats man: this huge lake was artificially born from a dam, but then the vegetation made it a hospitable place forall those migratory birds that stop there during their long journey to Africa. Nowadays it’s a nature reserve and a an unmissable stop. The scenery of Santa Luce also lends itself to contemplation and silence: it is no coincidence that the Lama Tzong Khapa Institute – one of the most important Buddhist centers in Europe – has been in existence from many years in the town of Pomaia.
