Cabin 5 is a premier two-bedroom lakeside cabin with a large deck overlooking Lake Almanor and Big Cove on the peninsula of the north shore. Located in Almanor Lakeside Resort, just off Peninsula Drive, it is only a few steps from the water. This is a cabin that will surpass your expectations with its great quality, design, and stunning views. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the master bedroom has a king-sized bed. The living room is to die for with an air conditioner and French doors that open to an over-sized deck that you will enjoy from Spring to Fall. The kitchen has every appliance you might need including a dish-washer for those that really want to ‘rough it’ as well as all the utensils you need. The living room has a great propane fireplace to take the edge off cool evenings and the couch has a twin fold-out for extra kids or guests. Watch your favorite movie on a flat screen Smart TV to end your day of lake recreation. There is an air conditioner in the living room for those warm summer nights. If you don’t want to cook inside, you can make the deck your new outside kitchen complete with a propane grill, table and chairs, and even a swing for two to watch the sun go down. Bedding & towels are provided. The resort includes a large lawn area with picnic tables. Rental includes a free boat launch and one free boat slip for every day of your stay. Docks are usually in the water by April 15th through October 31st. Just across the street is the Red Onion Restaurant and Sports Bar and adjacent to it is the Peninsula Market with an award-winning deli, coffee shop, wine room, and wonderful grocery store with fresh meats they cut themselves. In other words, everything you might need during your stay. Small to medium/large sized dogs allowed. We collect a 9% Transient Occupancy Tax plus a 3% Feather River Tourism Marketing District (FRTMD) Fee payable to Plumas County Tax Collector.
