The seaside terrace of Casa Conchiglia is our heart home. We live here mostly of the year and we rent only for few months . This beautiful and romantic coastal house in Marina Serra, Puglia, has a stunning view and an incredible location, an house right on the water. We highly recommend having a car. The space La Terrazza is the cozy attic of Casa Conchiglia, the beloved family home where I grew up surrounded by happiness. In 2017, my husband Stefano and I decided to share its magical energy with travelers from all over the world — a place where they can feel safe and truly at home. We live here all year round, except during July, August, and mid-September, when we rent the house to help cover its upkeep. A seaside home comes with many maintenance costs, but every sacrifice is rewarded by the joy of welcoming those who choose to create a special experience in this place. Every guest brings a unique story, and every smile born here repays the heartfelt sacrifices we make. Our unique beachfront home is just a few steps from the sea — literally. Set in the stunning Marina Serra, within the Otranto-Leuca Natural Park, our house is the perfect getaway to relax, explore Salento, and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Location & Surroundings You’ll be ideally positioned to visit Otranto, Gallipoli, Santa Maria di Leuca, and many other gems of Salento. But you may not want to leave: just outside your door are the famous natural rocky pools of Marina Serra — featured by National Geographic as among the most beautiful in the world. Walk left to reach the natural swimming pool, or continue right to discover the turquoise waters of "Lavaturo" and the hidden Spinchialuro cave. Tip: We recommend doing your grocery shopping before arrival so you can head straight to the sea without needing the car again. The bathroom features handmade terracotta tiles and a unique olive wood sink top, combining rustic beauty with Mediterranean minimalism. Eco-Friendly & Comfort Details. Washing machine is not available (due to proximity to the sea), but you’ll find local laundromats in our welcome guide. Water is precious in this region — please use it mindfully to avoid overfilling the septic tank. Choosing a longer stay isn’t just good for you — it’s a small act of love for the planet. The house is regularly sanitized, and all mattresses, pillows, and soft furnishings are treated with Ultra Vortex UV anti-mite and antimicrobial systems. Parking & Practical Info From June to September, free parking is available only on the right side of the road. Beach shoes are recommended for rocky areas. In the summer in the immediate vicinity 1 bar with Lido, 1 bar pizzeria restaurant and 1 restaurant with swimming pool. Bring sea shoes for rocky beach and beach towels. Because the air conditionig damage in a serious way the enviroment we reccomend to use only if is necessary. The house is build in a way that there is a circulation of natural air.
