Freshly updated and styled is this cosy self-contained studio located in Gwynneville. Close to everything Wollongong has to offer including North Beach, Wollongong Uni, Stuart Park, Botanical gardens and much more, very walkable and excellent public transport links. Why pay a premium for a hotel when you can have a private and cosy pad with more amenities than a hotel offers? The studio backs on to train line so if you are a light sleeper it may disturb you. You’ll see steam trains sometimes! The space The studio is a granny flat at the rear of my (shared) yard. It is one big open space and a bathroom off to the side. Guest access You will have exclusive access of the granny flat. The yard and the laundry are shared spaces. Other things to note This space is slightly smaller than a double garage and is one big open space; the sofa bed is best suited to one adult or two small kids. Please note that the granny flat is very close to the train line (hence the name of the listing!). The steam trains are very noisy but this is only occasional weekends and usually only once each way per day. The freight trains are noisy too for 10-20 seconds as they go by, however these aren’t too frequent and seem to drop off during the night.
