The large spaces over 4 meters high, characteristic of colonial buildings in Cuba, seduced us while representing a challenge due to decades of deterioration. We took up the uncertainty that the restoration of a building in Old Havana represented with the experience of what we learned in the first work. Each challenge was solved with ingenuity and the collaboration of artist friends who are now part of the project that is Amargura 62. The result is a unique style that combines the charm of antique objects, the coziness of home, and the best of our Cuban heritage. Restoring warmth to this space is a daily task, a constant struggle with the passage of time in which we are lovingly involved.
