At our Beachfront home you'll have the main floor which includes 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom, a well equipped kitchen, comfy living room with 55” TV and cozy sunroom overlooking the ocean. Games, books, maps and brochures. Minutes to the Grocery Store, Liquor Store and Pharmacy. Quiet location. Walk the beach, stroll to the local restaurant(Ship & Shore), book a fishing trip or just watch the boats come and go. The ideal spot for a getaway on the beach! It's all about creating memories! The space *If interested in spending more time during the winter months, please inquire about longer stays between October-February. We are located out on 'The Spit'. A unique setting where there's always something to sea! At low tide you can enjoy a walk all the way around the spit. We have a walk-on waterfront with easy entry to the water. Cozy, yet open concept floor plan including wall to wall/floor to ceiling windows in the sunroom. The home has that clean and airy feeling with a mix of old and new furnishings and decor. The dining table overlooks the manicured yard with the marina as the back drop. Ocean views from almost every room. Take in a morning sunrise from the comfy sunroom couch while sipping your morning tea or coffee. Watch the sealions swim in and out of the bay to feed, eagles soaring overhead and a variety of seabirds swimming around. Launch your kayak or paddleboard from our own private launch. Just a short stroll down the beach is Mapleguard Point. A great spot for a picnic lunch on the sand and the perfect location to watch the sunset! This is a great home-base location to many day-trip destinations. Denman Is. ferry is a 15 minute drive, with access to Hornby Is. and the ever popular Tribune Bay. Mt. Washington Ski Resort is just a 45 min. drive to the base of the mountain. Enjoy a number of premier Golf Courses, local lakes, walking/hiking trails, Qualicum Beach, Parksville and all the little shops, restaurants and cafes along the way. Visit the market in Coombs and maybe see some goats on the roof while you're there! For your comfort, the suite is non-smoking and pet-free. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire main floor suite, patio space and the beachfront. The back gate leads directly onto our private boat launch and the beach. There is plenty of parking in our driveway for your vehicle. *Guests may use the Kayaks(2)at their own risk(May-September Only)and they are not to leave the bay/immediate area. *Do not use alone. *PLEASE CARRY THE BOATS. Do not drag them on the beach or up and down our boat ramp. *Do not leave them unattended on the beach. *Life jackets provided(PFD)and should be worn at all times while on the water. Other things to note *Guest(s) understand and acknowledge the potential dangers with water related activities. *Use the ocean and surrounding area at your own risk. No Lifeguard. Lifejackets(PFD)are strongly recommended while on the water.
