From the doorstep of the duplex you can access trails for cross county skiing and hiking, no driving required! Fully equipped kitchen, back porch overlooking the lake and wood fired sauna. A boat launch is available out the back door, suited for smaller boats, canoes, or kayaks on calm days. It has everything that you need to stay put and relax, or use as a launch pad to explore the Keweenaw! Recently updated with new floors and new refrigerator. Lots of windows facing North and East, with wonderful views of the lake and to let in the sounds of the waves. Propane fireplace. Fully stocked with utensils, pots/pans, coffee cups, drinking cups, silverware, coffee pot, filters, sugar packets ,spices, oil, salt/pepper, baking ware, microwave, saran wrap, aluminum foil, sandwich/quart bags, measuring cups/spoons, plates/bowls. Large Fridge with freezer, and electric range stove. Dining Area: Table with 4 chairs, local tourist pamphlets and maps Living Room: Large Couch facing the North windows, 1 chairs, lamps, coffee table and 1 ends table. Propane fireplace. 43" Roku Tv, (please bring your own passwords for entertainment accounts.) Wi-Fi is provided. Barrel sauna: Outside, adjacent to driveway. Instructions for use in the duplex. Wood provided. Sauna is shared with the other guests from the Copper Suite. Deck: Outdoor dining table, with 4 chairs. Deck is overlooking boat launch, and facing North to the lake. New this season, grill with all the utensils and propane. This deck is a shared space with the other guests at the duplex, the Copper Suite. Fire Pit Cove: Wood is provided, and lots of dead down in the property can be found. Fire ring, with Picnic table. 2 camp chairs can be found in garage space for use, please return when done. This space is shared with the other duplex guests from the Copper Suite. Dogs: We do allow dogs, please disclose during registration in the drop-down menu for "guests" . We charge an extra $75 per stay cleaning fee. We meticulously clean after guests are here, and dog hair is hard to chase. We strictly ask, NO dogs are welcomed on the couches, chairs or beds including any bedding or pillows. Our units are a duplex, thus making barking dogs and off leash dogs not welcomed. If we need to discount other guests because your dog is a nuisance, we will issue a fine to your stay. If we find excessive dog hair on furniture/bedding, we will issue a $50 fine to your stay. Plan to take your dog with you when you leave the unit, unattended dogs are not allowed. if your dog is responsible for damages to our property, we will issue a $250 fine or the price to replace the item. Heated Garage: Please do not park in the garage, but you may use the large space for storage of your gear. Please move it out of general walking areas. Additional laundry is provided free, please refrain from using between 10a and 1pm, since our cleaner will need for other units. Boat Launch: Guests may access, while we don't exactly know the size of the boats that can use it... the rocky shallow shoreline ideally would limit boats to about 14'. Verizon service works at the property, while AT&T does not. No smoking or vaping inside the units. A $250 fine will be applied for violating. This is a duplex, you will have a shared entrance in the large garage. After the garage space, you have a private entrance up a small flight of stairs. The entire apartment is yours. The outside deck space and grill, the barrel sauna and the picnic table/fire ring are shared spaces with the understanding of first come first serve. We are available through the app for communication during your stay. Located on 3 acres with 600' of Lake Superior frontage. You can hike or ski on Nature Conservancy trails all the way to Eagle Harbor (2 miles) or great sand bay (2 miles). Otherwise, Eagle Harbor is a 2 mile drive, and Eagle river is a 6 mile drive.
