Private room "Bois des Fées" - Bird on the branch

Marianne and Christophe welcome you in a "country chic" atmosphere. Your guest room is located in an old stone sheepfold from 1800, on a private estate of 8.5 hectares consisting of a wooded park, two meadows and a forest. The place is a paradise for those looking for absolute calm, proximity to nature. Many tourist and archaeological sites in the surrounding area as well as the "flow bike" for mountain biking and cycling enthusiasts. Breakfast included! The space The rental price includes breakfast for 2 people. We provide you with an 18 m2 private room with an ensuite bathroom equipped with a large bathtub / shower / Bluetooth defogger mirror. The bedroom has a large desk and Ethernet fiber / Wi-Fi as well as a TV. Your room locks and has an individual exit overlooking the park. Pets are allowed (dog, cat) in the room and in the park, under the responsibility of their owner. In the park, you will find a forest picnic table, Chilean-style deckchairs and a hammock, and you can also enjoy the many hiking trails around the property. We have a private car park with 3/4 secure spaces. We will also tell you on site about all the walks and outings you can do in our beautiful region: bike flow, Queroy and Placard Caves, Château de la Rochefoucauld, Angoulême Comic Book Museum, etc. Our property is located 25 minutes from Angoulême, 12 minutes from La Rochefoucauld, 15 minutes from Montbron, 50 minutes from Cognac, 20 minutes from the Dordogne department, 1 hour 15 minutes from Limoge, 1 hour 15 minutes from Périgueux. Guest access The common areas of the house are open, including the living room. Traffic in the park, meadows and forest is allowed. It's possible to store food in one of our fridges/freezers. During your stay Guests can contact us on-site or via my mobile phone if we are away. We are physically present every night. Other things to note We provide other services to our visitors, upon request. These services are to be paid directly on site.
