The space The yacht is a 44ft Jeanneau Sun Odyssey with one spacious double cabin and two smaller double cabins, two bathrooms, a galley kitchen and lots of space on deck for sunbathing, socializing and relaxing. Although she's a 92 model, she's been constantly upgraded and modernized. It’s important to note that Voilactus offers a very specific type of experience: one tailored more toward adventurous travelers than traditional luxury seekers. Originally optimized for competitive sailing, the vessel is fully equipped for sea readiness but intentionally minimalistic in its onboard accommodations. Guests are encouraged to think of their time aboard as a form of upscale “glamping”—with the added bonus of being on the water. While Voilactus includes essential amenities such as sleeping quarters, a basic galley, and ventilation via multiple fans, she does not feature air conditioning or screened windows. We do, however, provide bug repellents and encourage use of the marina’s well-maintained onshore facilities for showers and restrooms while docked. You are free to use the boat as a base to explore Antigua by land or to set sail with your own private skipper. Wake up in secluded anchorages surrounded by warm clear water or rub shoulders with the super yacht set at the historic Nelsons Dockyard in buzzing English Harbour. The price quoted is for accommodation onboard at a dock in Jolly Harbour’s marina where guests embark and disembark comfortably. There is step on/off access to excellent restaurants, bars, a large supermarket and onshore facilities. The boat is a short walk from beautiful Jolly Beach. For sailing charters around the island there is an additional fee. For one day only it is $340, and for two or more it's $290 per day, payable in cash once on-board. This covers exclusive charter of the yacht, skipper and fuel. Guests have free use of snorkeling gear and limitless bottled drinking water. Each cabin is made up with clean sheets and towels and the boat is cleaned just before you board. When sailing away from the home base, extra charges are marina fees (if not at anchor) and food/drink. You are free to provision the boat as you would like. There is no flexibility on drop off/pick up locations. If you don't rent the boat for overnight accommodation, we offer day charters at a daily rate of $350. All itineraries are weather dependent. In addition to staying on board and sailing rentals, we offer the following: Stay on Land: - Extend your stay with a lovely, waterfront 2-bedroom villa available for $210 per night for AirBnB guests. - Longer term charters, around Antigua or to other islands. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the yacht (3 double cabins and saloon area). The accommodation also comprises a galley kitchen, two WCs and a shower, saloon area and outdoor eating area plus ample deck space. When at anchor or moored offshore there are crewed dinghy transfers ashore. To ensure a more comfortable experience and guarantee personal space we accept a maximum of four guests for overnight stays. The boat can take up to 8 guests for day charters. The skipper sleeps in a rear cabin when doing overnight charters, otherwise he goes ashore in the evening. Bareboat charter (without our skipper) is not possible. IMPORTANT: For hosts that come from the airport, please tell immigration officials that you're staying on board SY VOILACTUS, docked in Jolly Harbour ! After taking a taxi, the skipper will receive you and introduce you to the boat. Other things to note Upon arrival, our experienced skipper will provide a comprehensive safety and orientation briefing for all guests. Throughout the charter, guests are expected to adhere to the guidelines outlined during this briefing. While guests have the freedom to influence the yacht’s general movements and destination, it is essential to recognize that the skipper remains in full command. Guests must respect the skipper’s judgment regarding safety, weather conditions, and anchorage choices. We strive to accommodate all guests, but due to the nature of a sailing holiday and the use of dinghies for transfers ashore, we advise against bringing individuals with mobility difficulties. For your convenience, we recommend packing in a soft hold-all that can be easily stowed, rather than a rigid suitcase with wheels. Please note that the water in the boat’s tanks is not suitable for drinking. Occasionally, the island experiences drought periods, resulting in limited water supply. While we make every effort to replenish the boat’s tanks promptly, we regret that we cannot accept claims if the boat remains without water for up to 48 hours due to unforeseen delays. Important Information: Even if the boat appears unavailable, it may be reserved for a cruise or regatta. In such cases, extra crew members may be accepted on a daily basis. Feel free to inquire. Antigua’s restaurants offer lively entertainment, and some evenings, you’ll hear music late into the night. Our boat’s convenient location ensures easy access to these vibrant dining spots.
