The guest suite has been newly renovated and decorated in a modern-bohemian style to display Nashville in an artful way. No tacky tourist vibe here! We want to enrich our guests' experience with the culture of local Nashville music. We love showcasing authentic show poster art, including pieces from one of our favorite local spots, Hatch Show Print. Our place boasts a huge, designer bathroom with his/hers sinks and walk-in rain shower. The master closet has plenty of shelving and hanger space to "suit" your needs. The comfy queen-sized bed is perfect for a night of slumber, furnished with a DreamCloud mattress. The kitchenette is hotel-style with a microwave, apartment sized fridge and Keurig coffee bar. We'll provide drinkware and cutlery, along with paper plates/bowls for your stay. The breakfast nook is perfect for a quick meal before seeing the sites, or to use as a workspace. The hang-out area is spacious and accommodating—great for conversation, watching Netflix, or even a co-writing session! Vizio Smart TV is equipped with Netflix and is screen-share capable for you to cast other apps from your personal device. There is a fenced backyard with a private, designated patio area with a table and chairs for guests complete with string lights to set the mood. We also have a propane fire column available to make the patio even more cozy. We live in the main house full time, and Bryana works from home while taking care of our kids (toddler and baby), which means you may hear normal noises during the day. The part of the house that the guest suite is directly connected to is an office/laundry room, so not a room we are frequently in. You'll have your privacy, but we can't guarantee complete silence during the day if that's what you're after :) Our neighborhood, located in the Donelson area, is very safe and peaceful, and we have not had any problems with crime. It is an older neighborhood with many of the houses being recently renovated. We do live close to the airport, so you will hear planes fairly frequently (it's become white noise to us). Donelson is becoming a hub for local eateries, including Nectar Urban Cantina, Sunflower Cafe, Edley's Bar-B-Que, Caliber Coffee, and McNamara's Irish Pub to name a few. We are conveniently located near I-40 at the same exit as the airport. Guest access Entire guest suite. One important detail to note is that this unit is attached to our main residence, but has its own separate entrance. It is not a detached guest house. We strive to give our guests privacy, but you may see us outside, or hear us occasionally. You'll have covered parking in the driveway carport with access to your suite through a gate.
