$10 cab from the airport, 5mins walk to the swankiest suburb in cairns with coffee shops, boutiques, salons, botanic gardens & public swimming pool with a wave pool that you can surf in! Small comfy room, little very friendly dog, brand new shower, clean house and a 500sq m beautiful garden overlooking a creek and trees with a patio made for reading a mag and sipping a cocktail or coffee ;) the perfect short trip stop over. Cairns esplanade is a 10min bike ride, I have a spare bike you are welcome to otherwise it's only 15mins in a cab.
