Located in a central Ruhengeri, this bright and peaceful room features handmade Rwandan crafts and artwork, a private en-suite bathroom, and access to a kitchen, as well as a security guard on the premises. This is the largest room in the Umurage, a three-bedroom residence that funds and is also the location of the Ubushobozi Project, which supports a women's sewing and weaving co-op. You'll have the option of cultural tourism experiences with the women here or trips to the Virunga Mountains! The space This one-of-a-kind space combines beautiful traditional Rwandan artwork and modern appliances and comforts. Much of the artwork is made by women from the Ubushobozi Cooperative and is available for sale, allowing you to take a piece of your stay home with you! Enjoy the airy and light-filled space and feel immersed in Rwandan culture and hospitality. Outside, we can also set up a fire pit.
