Villa 105B is a beautiful and secluded hideaway in southwestern Sri Lanka. The large property near Bentota is adorned with tropical plants, coconut trees and fragrant frangipani trees. The extraordinary property, built in the style of the legendary architect Geoffrey Bawa, houses four guest rooms, each with their own bathroom. Today I am pleased to welcome you to our own private paradise: Villa 105B! In the relaxing seclusion of Villa 105B, we want to give you one of the most comfortable stays you can imagine. You should not miss anything – except for more time to linger... Villa 105B is a beautiful and secluded retreat on the southwest coast of the country, near Bentota Beach in Western Province. The luxurious 1-hectare property is surrounded by a large tropical garden with lawns and coconut palms, frangipani trees and a variety of plants and shrubs – amidst original jungle and rice fields. Our exceptional private villa offers every luxurious comfort. The five interconnected buildings are designed in the classic style of the famous local architect Geoffrey Bawa. They accommodate 4 guest rooms, each with their own bathroom, a dining pavilion, a leisure pavilion and a palm-roofed hut for yoga or meditation, as well as the refreshing comfort of a 1.5-meter-deep and 90-square-meter pool. The villa is the perfect place for an extended vacation with the family or just for two. With a total of four guest rooms with king-size beds, the villa can accommodate up to eight guests when traveling with friends. The "Monkey Room" is on the upper floor of the guest house and is our most popular guest room. The king-size bedroom with indoor bathroom has two private sun terraces. Through the glass doors and windows of the bedroom you can look into nature and listen to the sound of the jungle in the wind – and sometimes you can hear the cry of a monkey from a distance. All rooms and bedrooms are fully air-conditioned and offer additional fans on the ceiling of each room. Several lounge areas, sofas and sun loungers are spread over the property and invite you to relax, spread out or retreat. The large pool is usually the most popular meeting place on the property. Whether for work or entertainment, our free Wi-Fi is available. For a trip to the sea, the famous Bentota Beach is only a 15-minute drive away. The silky, beige sandy beach and the warm ocean waves are wonderful and invite you to walk and swim. We can recommend other outdoor activities and excursions along the nearby coast or inland. By car or tuk-tuk you can reach the nearest towns of Dharga Town and Aluthgama in less than 10 minutes. There you can find all kinds of shops and modern supermarkets, pharmacies, ATMs and souvenir shops. The daily market offers a wide selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and of course fresh fish. Traditionally, our guests are cooked by Nilame, the chef of our villa, who is a true culinary poet. His creations from typical Sri Lankan cuisine and continental dishes are stunning and delicious at the same time. We are happy to cater to your personal preferences - from a simple breakfast to half board to full gourmet enjoyment. All food and beverages are offered at cost price with no additional service fee. We even harvest the Organic King Coconuts fresh from the palm trees of our own garden and serve them to you as a traditional soft drink. On request, we are also happy to recommend local restaurants and hotel bars nearby. All-day service: The villa staff will take care of you at all times. In addition to our chef, our property manager, a roomboy and the gardener are on site every day and take care of your well-being. At night, a night watchman always stays on the premises. Our employees have their own staff house. So you are well cared for, yet undisturbed and have complete privacy. The staff house contains the kitchen, storage and laundry rooms of the villa. Treatment Room: The villa has its own massage room. Ayurvedic massages and body treatments can be arranged by local therapists and are available upon request. Free parking: We offer secure free parking on the premises for up to two cars. We can arrange a chauffeur service with a local driver by car or tuk-tuk at any time. Other things to note Two loving German shepherd siblings, Lilly and Jonny, live on the property. The dogs are trusting and very friendly. They usually run freely on the premises. They can also be accommodated in a separate part of the building if desired. You will be completely undisturbed.
