Nestled on the fifth floor with elevator access (there are 8 stairs to reach the lift), in the most authentic heart of Florence: Borgo San Iacopo, just steps from the iconic Ponte Vecchio. A secret haven where time stands still, wrapped in poetry and history. Upon your arrival you will find a bottle of wine. If you want to find something more, like some fruit, bread or milk, let me know. We also give you small samples of bubble bath and soap. If you are staying for a longer period bring your own. The apartment is equipped with a washing machine and a dryer, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating which is turned on according to the law. Guest access The tower is located in Borgo San Iacopo, near the Ponte Vecchio in Oltrarno, the most autenthic zone of Florence, still loved by Florentins Close by there is Piazza della Passera, Piazza Santo Spirito, Palazzo Pitti, Giardino di Boboli e gli Uffizi con il Palazzo Vecchio and its beatiuful Loggia and piazza della Signoria. In front of the Ponte Vecchio there is the supermarket , in front of the tower there is a garage Lungarno which if you travell by car has be reerved in advance. In Borgo San Iacopo is full of restaurants, for example Cinghiale Bianco which has the best T-bone stake (speciallity in Florence). If you travell by car remember that there is the ZTL (zone traffic limited) It's not allowed to drive and to park in the historical center without the reservation in the special garages that treat the ztl. The coffee maker is an Italian one, not an American one; you drink espresso... A cot is available upon request and costs an additional 20 euros. Since it is a thousand-year-old tower, there may be some maintenance work. Early check-in is possible for a fee of €30, subject to availability. Luggage Storage: Luggage can be left from 12:30 PM for a fee of €15, which must be paid via the payment link (STRIPE). Note: This is not a check-in. The apartment may not yet be cleaned. It is not possible to use the services or keep the keys. The service must be requested and paid for within the previous day. A €30 charge applies for staying until 1:00 PM, and this fee must be communicated the day before check-out. Payment can be made in cash or via Stripe. The apartment is equipped with hand soap, dish soap, two bags for the two bins, a sponge, two rolls of toilet paper, and one set of towels per person (extra linens are available for a fee and upon request). Extra sheets, towels, toilet paper, and other items are available upon request and for a fee. Heating complies with regulations and is active from November 15th to April 15th. Air conditioning complies with regulations and must not be set below 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit) and can be used when it is really hot outside.
