The space Taking its cue from the changing seasonal colours of neighbouring Battersea Park, this Victorian three-storey home liberally explores the colour wheel to deliver exemplary family living in one of south London’s most soulful neighbourhoods. Vibrant and refreshing in its intelligent shifts in texture and tone, this property is within easy reach of the designer enclaves of Chelsea and the King’s Road with the restaurants and boutiques of the Battersea Power Station redevelopment also in touching distance... Masterful in its interweaving of contemporary and traditional tastes, adroit zoning helps create a spacious feel in the open-plan living area. Adorned with vintage furniture and alluring objets d’art, it’s a congenial atmosphere to while away an evening with family and friends. Subtle hues of sage lend a calming air to the country-style kitchen which enchants with its wood worktops and floors, plus direct access to the garden terrace. Embellished by decorative china plates that festoon the wall, the adjoining dining room benefits from a magnificent bay window that draws in the light, offering soothing views towards the terrace. Peaceful in pastel pinks and retaining period grace, the master suite is impressively spacious with a plush double bed, Ottoman chair and small work area. The en-suite bathroom craftily captures the eye with its iridescent shades of indigo, featuring a vintage wall-mounted bath. Strident in forest green, the natural aesthetic of the double suite is a reminder of your location to Battersea Park. Hosting a double bed and decorated with pastoral artwork, this reposeful space also boasts an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The calming sky blue surrounds and twin single beds of the third bedroom are ideal for children, while the fourth single bedroom exudes tranquility with its pastel hues and period fireplace. Adding final panache to this property’s inventive colour scheme, yellow and white stripes bring a touch of sunshine cheer to the family bathroom, replete with a bath and attached shower. Fortunately, the enlivening mood is effortlessly maintained outside by a secluded garden terrace, deftly tucked away from prying eyes by lush greenery. Early riser? A seating area beckons you to enjoy the dawn chorus from the neighboring parklands over an invigorating coffee. We Love The heartening deployment of colour that imbues each room with an independent spirit. This property occupies three storeys; the ground, first and second floors.
