The Guanajuato Experience (Alameda)
Description
For travelers seeking the true Guanajuato Experience, this is the place for you! This 3-bedroom, 3-story family home is located just moments from the city's historic center. There are no steep hills or stairs to get to the house (just inside) and you can be dropped off and picked up literally right in front of the home! Here, you'll feel like a local and have access to all of our modern amenities with a stunning rooftop space, too! Don't just rent a home, come enjoy the Guanajuato Experience! The space After two years of renovation and TLC, this home opened in September 2023 as a tribute to Guanajuato's amazing history and culture. Step inside and you'll feel surrounded by the city's hundreds of years of tradition. On the first floor, you'll find the dining room, the kitchen, the first of three bedrooms, and a bathroom. On the second floor, you'll find two more bedrooms and the second bathroom. And on the third floor, what awaits you is an indoor office space, small den, and a beautiful covered patio that allows you to enjoy the city's beloved skyline no matter the time of day or night, rain or shine. Guest access CLEAR PRICING: The nightly list price is for up to 2 guests. There is an additional cost if you would like to bring 3 or more guests and you can see the difference by adjusting the number of guests in your reservation to see your adjusted cost. This feature helps keep the pricing fair for everyone as groups of 2 don't have to pay the same as a group of 6 would pay; likewise, groups of 6 won't pay the same price as groups of 2 because they will use more laundry, utilities, etc. Guests will have full access to the home and the rooftop patio. While one room is kept locked to hold the supplies and the security system, all of the rest of the home is for you to enjoy! Other things to note The capital city of Guanajuato is very pedestrian friendly - in fact, our historic downtown doesn't even have a single stoplight! This home is located on one of the few roads that leads into the heart of the city so it is easy to get to and from the action without being right in the middle of the fun nightlife scene. That said, the one-lane road in front of the home will have cars regularly passing by because it is one of the few entryways into town. Also, it is common - particularly on Friday and Saturday nights - for groups of friends to use this road to walk back home late at night when the nightclubs close. This is actually a good thing that partygoers can safely walk home instead of needing to get behind a wheel and driving home, but it also means there may be some pedestrian traffic walking by the house. Generally there are significantly fewer cars and pedestrians going by the home on weeknights (Sunday thru Thursday) and we hope that you will celebrate with us how Guanajuato has created a safe and welcoming environment for visitors and residents alike.
