Inviting Victorian Century Home in Oberlin
This property is a well-appointed century home located on a tree-lined main street in a charming small college town. Guests may enjoy relaxing on a wide, comfortable front porch with wicker furniture and porch swing, or in a cozier screened-in space on the back porch overlooking a deep yard and colorful garden. Oberlin College and Conservatory campus is an easy 10-15 minute walk. The space The shared living space is essentially an art gallery, complete with tags acknowledging name of artist and title. Decorations range from actual Asian artifacts to Asian inspired wall hangings. The home has unpainted oak woodwork and high ceilings. The living room is appointed with comfortable sofas and chairs. The bedroom is upstairs and temperatures are comfortably controlled with forced air heating and central air conditioning. The two large bedroom windows have privacy shades and black-out curtains to provide total darkness if desired. The bathroom is across the hall and is available to guests for private use. The house has a driveway and an uncovered parking pad for guests. Coffee and tea are available for guests. Guest access Guests are invited to enjoy the living room and porch areas, in addition to the bedroom and private use bathroom. Other things to note I am a part-time semi-retired violin teacher, and in late afternoon and early evenings one day a week there could be violin lessons taking place in the music room. Guests can still come and go during these hours.
