ONLY 45 MINUTES FROM KC WORLD CUP MATCHES! The space The modern-style studio lies in the backyard of the historic 1908 George Walker house. George Walker was a famous black Vaudevillian. He built this home for his mother. The studio was built in 1985 and contains two floors. The first floor has the open dining room/living room space, desk area, closet, kitchen, and bathroom. The living room area contains the top-of-the-line Tempur Pedic bed, which can be set up upon request; there you will also find a 55" smart TV. Fully equipped kitchen with all basic amenities, including simple cooking supplies. A beautiful wooden staircase takes you to the top floor/loft area, which contains the queen-sized bed and side table. Please note that the ceiling of the loft is slanted over the bed. The space gets plenty of light from its six large south-facing ceiling windows. An ideal space for parents of current or future Jayhawks and visiting scholars. Guest access You will have access to the entire space, including covered patio just outside the studio. Other things to note Plenty of street parking available.
