Sitting well over the surrounding river valley, the only head lights to be seen are miles away on the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. - Great views: Whether you're looking out over the mountains or gazing at the Catawba River Valley, our vacation home offers stunning views that will take your breath away. Depending on the season, one could have the opportunity to rest their eyes on foliage color change in the fall, snow in winter and the occasional rain storm passing through. - Close to amenities: Despite its private location, our rental is just a stone's throw from all the amenities you need. You'll find restaurants, shops, and other attractions just a short drive away, so you can easily explore everything the area has to offer. - Modern amenities: Our rental is equipped with all the modern conveniences you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. From high-speed Wi-Fi to a fully equipped kitchen. The house design offers cathedral ceilings and a loft area creating a sense of space and airiness, while the layout lends to cozy and intimate settings. Over 25 windows help to capture plenty of light and spectacular views! Curtains can be pulled for down time in the living area. Screened in porch with access from two bedrooms and living room allow for sitting when the weather feels just right. The property is treated for mosquitos however the screen porch is added security from flying pests. Also, a brand new Jacuzzi tub to help relax tired muscles. Covered porches are available on three sides of the home. These are acceptable areas for smoking if desired. Please no smoking inside. Open concept from kitchen to living room all the way to the loft makes for more enjoyment with everyone in your party. Adventure tower deluxe playset including monkey bars, rock wall, slide, and climbing dome will entertain young ones for hours. Fire pit to help wind down in the evenings. *Please do not use if a burning ban has been issued.* A10x10 outdoor kennel and dog house is provided if needed. Please provide your own food and water bowl. Please dispose of your pet waste as you would in any public place. A water hose is close by if additionally needed. Two dogs maximum. Due to family members allergies, no cats inside of home please. Free parking area will accommodate boat, camper or motorcycle trailer and turning. Other things to note Fall and Winter months-Our home is in a rural area and surrounded by nature. As the the temperature drops, nature sometimes finds its way into our home. While we do our best to keep insects outside, please know that you may see stink bugs or lady bugs in the home during the fall and winter months. Both are harmless and we have provided a red vacuum cleaner in the cleaning closet (next to dining room table) if you wish to use it during your stay. We will also check the home before your arrival but please know it is impossible to completely avoid them entering the home. Our home is treated throughout the year.
