The Red House is a 6 minute drive from downtown Blue Hill, 50 minutes drive from Acadia National Park Headquarters on Mount Dessert Island. The house has been completely remodeled and is filled with light, and feels comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is complete with everything you'll need for cooking. In 2022 we installed 3 Split AC/Heating Wall units, in the 2 larger bedrooms, and in the kitchen/dining/living area. We also have super fast fiber optic WIFI. There is a full size washer & dryer in the basement. A BBQ Grill is on the deck. We have a large storage shed behind the house- we use it for seasonal storage of cars & boats. We now have air conditioning! The entire house We live just down the road, and are available anytime for anything, we want your stay to be perfect! Blue Hill is a well kept secret on the coast of Maine, with many hiking opportunities, and watersports too. We have several fabulous restaurants in town, cafes, and shops! There are great walking trails nearby, kayak and paddleboard rentals, and Acadia Park is a short drive away.
