Victorian Cottage - The Beach Walmer

The Cottage has been designed to ensure that your stay is as comfortable and relaxing as possible. It's a little step back in time and perfect for long and short term stays all year round. Free street parking is available. Created to encourage you to take your time and provide a quiet place to relax after you have enjoyed the beach, walks, or overindulgence in the local pubs and independent restaurants. Alternatively, the kitchen is equipped to create your favourite dishes. The space This home is suitable for the single traveller, couples or 3 (or 4 people - sofa bed available to book) people maximum. There are 2 bedrooms, one double and one single complete with orthopaedic mattresses. Towels, toiletries and linen are all provided and ready for your arrival so if you want to book last minute - just pack a bag and make your way! There is also a washer/dryer, fridge and freezer, cooker and microwave. You can see the sea from the second bedroom and perhaps enjoy a glass or mug of your favourite beverage or tuck into some of the goodies you will find on arrival. The cottage was named after the son of Queen Victoria, the Duke of Brunswick. Other things to note The benefit of staying in Walmer is that you will not incur any additional parking costs. You should be able to park on street, opposite the cottage or on The Beach itself which is also free at all times. The cottage is 15-20 minutes' walk from either Walmer or Deal train station or a very short taxi ride away. The bus stops are also no more than a 3-minute walk, just get off at The Strand, Walmer.
