The space This cottage-style cabin features an open-concept layout with 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room, comfortably accommodating families, couples, or small groups of friends. Outdoors, enjoy evenings around the bonfire, grilling on the deck, fishing along the river, or unwinding with a good card game and great company. Please note: This home is located directly on the Illinois River and is elevated on stilts. At certain times of the year—especially after continuous heavy rain—the river may rise and bring water under or around the home. This is expected for riverfront living and part of what makes this spot unique. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home and property Other things to note While The Riverhouse offers a peaceful and scenic waterfront escape, please note that it is located along a highway. The property is spacious, but due to proximity to both the river (approximately 80 yards from the home) and the road, children must be closely supervised at all times. • Check-in: 4:00 PM • Check-out: 11:00 AM • No smoking allowed.
