While you're here, become friends with the local wildlife, from kangaroos and echidnas to black cockatoos, wake up with breakfast on a sun-kissed deck and wind down at night by the firepit with a glass of local wine. The space Badger’s Retreat is the perfect place to get away and unwind from the hustle and bustle of life, or spend a romantic weekend away in nature. Overlooking a waterlily filled dam, and surrounded by gums, wattles and wildlife, its many windows and skylights are designed to bring you as close to the bush as possible while still affording yourself all the modern comforts necessary. Badger’s Retreat sleeps two people in its decadent queen bed with luxury Sheridan linen, connected by a loft runway to a cozy reading nook, and treats you with views of the small clearing filled with wildflowers in spring, the cool waters of the dam and the sun-dappled hills to the north. The Tiny House is kitted out with reverse cycle air conditioning for comfort in all seasons, a full kitchen with everything you could need alongside a breakfast bar with bi-fold windows which opens the space up beautifully. There's also a dishwasher, a washing machine and a generously sized shower to keep you feeling yourself. Built by Aussie Tiny Homes, the bespoke eco-friendly Badger’s Retreat is off-grid and solar powered. The bathroom makes use of a waterless, easy-to-use compost toilet, and the shower and sinks use collected, filtered rainwater. In order to help you destress and relax, there's no wifi or TV, so bring your favourite book, sit on the deck and let yourself be lost in this tranquil, cozy escape. Guest access Guests will have access to the Tiny Home and surrounding property. As the owners live in the main house, we ask that you remain respectful of their privacy.
