We know how important it is to take time to reconnect and create memories before it is too late. With its open and airy layout we can comfortably sleep 10 people. Situated on almost 2 acres with hiking (at your own risk) right behind the house, adventures and memories are waiting to be created. There are even caves waiting to be explored if you are the adventurous type. Upstairs you will find 4 bedrooms. A master bedroom with a king bed so comfortable you will think you fell asleep on a cloud. The master bedroom has a bathroom attached. A queen bedroom, two twin bed room, and a kids bunk bed room. Every room has been lovingly designed to ensure that you get the restful relaxation you deserve. Downstairs you will find another master bedroom with a king bed and all the elegance of a bygone era. We know how important a good cup of coffee is when waking up on vacation so we created the perfect coffee bar and lounging area with all the essentials to wake up on the right side of the bed. Our kitchen has everything you need to whip up a gourmet meal – or just pretend like you’re going to. And if you’re feeling lazy, we won't judge if you order from takeout from one of the amazing local restaurants. After dinner, settle in for a movie night on one of the many smart TVs or pull out some board games for some friendly competition. And don’t worry, we have all the essentials! From towels, soap, blow dryer, napkins, and oxygen (you know, for breathing), we have you covered. Seriously, our farmhouse is so perfect, you might never want to leave. We’ve had guests ask if they can move in permanently. (No, really. Please don’t.) You are located in the heart of the Monadnock region which is known for its natural landscape and quaint New England towns. Nearby you will find no shortage of wholesome activities to take part in. Go for a world class hike at the second most hiked mountain in the world, Mount Monadnock. Go skiing or snow tubing at Granite Gorge or Pats Peak. Enjoy a peaceful picnic at Stonewall Farm, or visit the local children’s museum or nature preserve. Enjoy a live performance at the Colonial Theater in Keene. Stroll through the most charming town of Peterborough and stop in, Toadstool Bookshop to be taken to a faraway land in a good book. After a full day of adventuring, relax and recharge with a delicious meal at Luca’s Mediterranean Café and finish it off with award winning homemade ice cream at Kimball Farm. Guest access You will have access to the entire home except for the garage, attic, and basement. Other things to note In an effort to maintain the security of the property, the home is equipped with 2 exterior security cameras. The cameras are ONLY on the exterior, and there are no cameras on the inside. No Smoking or Vaping of any kind in the house or on the property. You can go for a walk if you need to. We try to keep the house clean and free of smoke/vape for all guests. No Pets of any kind. If you choose to bring a pet, you will be asked to leave and there will be no refund for your stay.
