There is great fishing from the property with plenty of Bullhead and Carp, this is a perfect retreat. ★ Chippewa Bay General Store and Boat Launch★ Situated .5 mi or 3 minutes from the house, the area is small and almost completely surrounded by water with great views from anywhere in the area. The Store provides any necessities as well as gas and a boat launch. ✔ Boat Launches ✔ Fishing ✔ Gas ✔ Store ★ GUEST ACCESS ★ The cottage is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay, so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home. The drive to us is easy, and beautiful! ★ OTHER THINGS TO NOTE ★ DOCKING: the dock is a deep water dock able to accommodate boats, it is a SHARED dock space with one other boat, so you may see a couple walking to the boat on occasion STEPS TO THE DOCK: I have several photos of the steps down to the dock there are several different sets up steps to get down and up, most have railings but the steps at the bottom do not and are uneven so PLEASE WATCH YOUR STEPS! PARKING: Plenty of parking for cars, boats, trailers ACCESS: The front door has a key. You will be provided the location on the day of arrival. TRAVELING AROUND THE AREA: There are no taxis or rideshare services in the area. So driving a personal vehicle or boating to locations is your best bet! OUTDOOR GRILL: There is a gas grill on the deck for your use. TRASH: there are two outdoor trash cans CHECK IN/OUT: We do not typically offer late check out or early check in due to high occupancy. If by chance we can accommodate, we will. **Check in: After 4:00pm EST / Check out: 10:00am EST** WHAT TO BRING: We provide toilet paper, sponge and dish detergent, trash bags, paper towels, Linens, pillows Coffee, ice, soaps, shampoos, toiletries, condiments, zip locks are NOT provided. We also suggest bringing the following during your stay: bottled water (we do not recommend drinking the water but it is suitable for bathing and cooking) SMOKING: This is a NON-SMOKING/VAPING cabin. If you smoke/vape inside the cabin you will be charged $250, plus an increase to the cleaning fee, and any damages. PARTIES: NO parties allowed at this house. You will be charged an additional $250, plus an increase to the cleaning fee, and be asked to leave immediately. PETS: Pets are unfortunately not allowed. OCCUPANCY: Maximum Permitted Occupancy is 4 guests. CELL & INTERNET: Cell Phone Signal is decent but you may pick up Canadian cell towers. We also provide access to high speed internet at this location. WEATHER: We do NOT offer refunds for weather or natural disasters. We suggest purchasing trip insurance. SAFETY: Please wear life jackets and please boat responsibly! Owner/Host is NOT responsible for accidents or injuries.
