BANYAN by the Coast offers a beautiful, peaceful, chic, beachy vibe with a high level of comfort. Perfect for time away to recharge and revitalise. Set in private grounds, setback from the main road with superb rural views from the rear of the property out towards the sea, in the distance. The secluded outdoor space with Lazy Spa hot tub looks out across the natural landscape towards the sea and the isle of Lundy. And when the sun is shining....a perfect suntrap and incredible sunset views. The space As you enter through the hand carved antique Indian doors and into the open plan lounge/dining area, feel yourself unwind as you take in the view through the bi-fold patio doors leading to your own secluded patio area, raised platform and hot tub with sunbathing loungers, table and chairs to enjoy the amazing sunsets. The BANYAN is a two story holiday home with a chilled and relaxing beachy vibe. On the ground floor, an open plan living and dining area with comfy sofa, and 55 inch SMART TV. This leads through into the fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and stools, induction hob, oven, slimline dishwasher, fridge with ice box, Nespresso coffee machine and blender and picnic hamper for your use. Also on the ground floor, a modern bathroom with a large powerful rainfall shower and heated towel rail, wash basin and WC. Please note there is only one bathroom at this property located on the ground floor. Once up the stairs you enter into a relaxing reading area with views out to the sea. This leads into the spacious luxury bedroom with kingsize bed, hanging and storage space for your belongings plus his and her robes. Guest access Guests have sole access to the BANYAN and their own secluded garden/patio area. The driveway provides access to our own home as well as the BANYAN and is gated with parking available directly to the front of the property. If you need use of a washing machine during your stay please do ask. Other things to note To make the most of your time away, holistic therapies are provided on site (at an extra cost) offering a range of massage therapies and homeopathy subject to availability. With regard to the nearest beach and access, we are located just a mile away (downhill so uphill coming back!) from Bucks Mills beach which is a rocky, stony beach but when the tide is out reveals sandy inlets great for bathing. NB. No lifeguard duty at this beach. The main surf beaches are Westward Ho! (15 mins drive) and Bude beaches (30 mins drive) If you have an infant under 2 please note that the property has primarily been set up for one to two adults with low level decorative pieces and furniture which could be a potential risk for mobile toddlers unless items moved. Whilst we love to have the little ones, please be aware we don't have some of the recommended safety features like child locks or a hot water temperature control and therefore feel it would be better suited to babies that aren't yet mobile. Please note, our minimum age criteria is 21 years due to the nature of the property.
