Fun activities are only minutes away: 5-MINUTES At your doorstep, literally, is a path that leads you to the Deschutes River trail which meanders along the pine-forested shore of the Deschutes River. You cross bridges, walk through wilderness, and make a loop to where you began. Cycling is a way of life in Bend. There are bike paths that venture through River Camp development that will take you to directly to popular biking trail heads like Phil's trail! 10 MINUTES The Old Mill District has a mix of well-known chain stores and locally-owned boutiques, along with restaurants lining the Deschutes riverfront. At Riverbend Park, just beyond the Old Mill District you can rent an inner tube, kayak or stand-up paddleboard. Or, you can float or paddle for about two hours until you reach Drake Park then board the city shuttle for a couple of bucks and do it all over again. 15 MINUTES Bend has terrific restaurants and brewpubs with outdoor seating well as a great selection of food carts you’ll find around town, especially along Galveston Avenue. Historic Downtown Bend is dotted with quaint, locally-owned shops and unique historic architecture, with the added bonus of being right on the fringe of Bend’s famous Drake Park. 18-20 MINUTES With the recent opening of the Cloudchaser lift on the east side, Mt. Bachelor has become a skier and snowboarder’s paradise, with 4,318 skiable acres open November through Memorial Day weekend. Kids 12 and under ski free with parents. Transportation in the area requires vehicles Internet: The internet has upgraded speeds (up to 300Mbps download, up to 10Mbps upload). There is an eero mesh system in the house with a beacon in each room so that the internet is fast throughout the house. The internet supports multiple people working at home or attending online classes. Working remote/attending online classes: There is a desk, chair and a desk lamp in the upstairs bedroom.
