Farringford Apartment One - is an elegant and spacious, 1st floor, 1 bedroom apartment (which can sleep up to 4 adults) set in a beautiful 19th century Arts & Craft style house located in the historic spa town of Buxton. It is very close to the Pavilion Gardens and a short walk to all the town has to offer. A perfect place to stay and create some memories in the Peak District. (Please note that it is not suitable for children under 10.) There are 2 off-road parking spaces available The space Once inside the apartment there is an internal hallway which gives access to the other rooms and the covered balcony. A large living/kitchen/diner : The living area has a sofa and 2 chairs, a 32" smart TV and the WiFi connection. There is also a wall-mounted pull down full size double bed - (please note that to save on unnecessary laundry, this bed will only be made up for use if you let us know in advance.) The kitchen area is well equipped with hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and cafetière etc... The dining area has a round table and 4 chairs. The large bedroom has a king-size bed, wardrobe, dressing table and a seating area. The bathroom has a good sized walk-in shower and a large freestanding feature bath, WC and basin. All bedlinen, towels and tea towels are provided. We supply washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, toilet rolls, and hand-soap, but please bring your own shower-gel/shampoo etc. There is also an iron, ironing board, hairdryer, vacuum cleaner and clothes airer. We also provide a welcome tray with tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and a pint of milk (in the fridge) to help you settle in. For safety reasons the apartment is not suitable for children, but if you wish to bring a baby (not walking), a travel cot can be supplied - just let us know in advance. Guest access Entry to the apartment is via the house main front door into a large communal entrance lobby, which guests are welcome to use either to store/leave coats and muddy boots, as a space to wait/gather, or even to play games (table tennis provided on request). You then head up the wide main staircase to the 1st floor, where you will find a dedicated lockable front door for Apartment One. Other things to note Set in a beautiful location, it's just a short walk to the Pavilion Gardens, Buxton Opera House and the centre of town which boasts a wide variety of shops, restaurants and bars. Buxton is centrally located so you have easy access to all the Peak District has to offer in terms of sights, walks and cycle trails. Alton Towers is about a 40 minute drive, & the Trafford Centre / Manchester is less than 1 hour by car.
