Live like a local! Try local drinks, food and sweets! Surely, authentic Greek restaurants, pastry-shops and diners are around the corner. A large terrace makes a stay in our SunCity-Apartment very attractive for everyone. A glass of cold retsina (Greek white wine) will accomplish your evenings while enjoying Athenian neighbourhoods’ skyline view. This 2-Room flat is situated in the centre of Athens. Most of the historical spots can be reached within 15-30 min walk or with a few stops by metro. The space The SunCity-Apartment is my holiday flat in Athens, it is situated in a residential house on the 4th floor (without elevator). The Iliou Street (Sun Street in Greek) is a quiet narrow one-way side street. The flat is freshly renovated, nicely decorated and offers a comfortable stay for either a couple or a small family or even for 2 couples. A bed in a bedroom is 140cm x 200cm large and a living room sofa can be converted into a bed of the same size. The kitchen is equipped with manually managed Nespresso machine, a moca coffee-maker, a gas stove, an oven/microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. A fully renovated bathroom has a shower, you can use the hair dryer. The flat is equipped with 2 air conditioners. Of course, we have Wi-Fi. The flat is on the fourth floor and we don't have an elevator in the house Guest access Our SunCity-Apartment is situated in the centre of Athens. Most of the historical spots can be reached within 20-30 min walk. If you don't want to walk, the next metrostation Metaxurgio as well as bus/trolley stops are just 5-6 min from the house. The Metaxurgio Station is on the M2 line, connecting most of the central stations (Omonia, University, Syntagma and Acropolis) The apartment is located on the 4th floor and our building is not equipped with an elevator From the airport of Athens one needs around 40-50 min with a taxi cab, 1h-1h10 with a metro and around 1h30 with a X95/metro combined option to reach our apartment Other things to note We offer guests an option of self check-in. The full self check-in instructions guests will get a couple days prior to their arrival. This is a regular residential house in a residential area. Please respect neighbours - be quiet after 22:00. Please, let us know about your estimated arrival and departure times. Standard check-in time is after 1 pm. Check-in before 9 am (if this possible due to occupancy) is a matter of additional 10€ surcharge. Check-out time is before 10 am. Please note, we don't have a reception service. Please, check our house rules. Weekly and monthly discounts are available. Ask us, if a pick-up service TO the airport for 35€ over a day and for 40€ over a night (00-06) fees, paid in cash to a driver or TO Pireos port (25€ paid in cash to a driver) is available for your day/night of departure.
