Description

Our hostel is an Eclectic style house located in downtown Santa Clara city. Set in the Louis XV and Louis XVI style. Surrounded by a pleasant and cozy family atmosphere. The space Hostal D´ Cordero is a house located in the city center, very close to Leoncio Vidal Park, right in the historic center of Santa Clara. Built in the 1930s in an eclectic style for the residence of Dr. Elio Fileno de Cárdenas, who was Senator of the Republic by the province of Las Villas from 1940 to 1948. The property has 5 comfortable private rooms, with high points, with natural ventilation and air conditioning. The first of the rooms remains set in the Venetian style, followed by another that has an elegant Luis XVI furniture, both with old bathrooms with marine motifs. Room number 3 also responds to the taste of the '50s with all its pieces restored and an extensive bathroom that also responds to the mode of the time. As a special detail, this piece holds a large painting by local artist Juan Ramón Valdés Gómez (Yiki). The last of the rooms stands out for its decor Luis XV, a large window with beautiful stained glass windows and a living room with Diana-style wicker furniture, likewise brings together an abundant collection of old and contemporary Cuban and foreign paintings. The rest of the house also remains decorated with several collections of paintings, porcelain, glass, blankets, lamps, lamps, and lamps, among other elegant objects. The living room and room show beautiful mosaics imported from Italy and furnishings that belonged to the Cuban poetisess Dulce Maria Loynaz, National Literature Prize in 1987 and Miguel de Cervantes Prize in 1992. It also has a large central courtyard surrounded by a corridor with graceful columns, ornamental plants and a pergola that invites rest and inspires tranquility, as well as an old fountain that represents the house logo.
