In the delicacy of small details, charm reveals itself. Small, welcoming, and filled with light, Casa do Pavão invites tranquillity in every gesture and every pause. Here, beauty lives in simplicity: a serene retreat where time slows down and comfort becomes a gentle presence. The space CASA DO PAVÃO (64m², 1 king-size bed or twin+ 1 sofa-bed) Casa do Pavão is a private apartment consisting of 1 bedroom with 1 king-size bed, convertible into 2 single beds, equipped kitchen, living room with a sofa-bed, TV, WiFi and fireplace and bathroom with bathtub. This was the home of the former caretaker, Mr. Pavão, who still comes to visit us at least once a day to feed his goats. This house stands out for its bread oven, where, until a few years ago, corn bread was made every week. Unfortunately, it is no longer in use. In the building of the former tea factory “Ataíde”, in addition to the Lounge (Reception), there are 2 Lofts and 3 Suites. About 800 meters away, at the top of the hill (pico) and next to the family's main house, there are 2 more Lofts. Breakfast is included and is available between 8:30 and 9:30am. In the Lounge there are telephone services, wireless internet and a meeting room. In the various houses, pieces by various artists are on display. Other things to note We occasionally host events that may take place in the reception and garden, so please note that these spaces may be used by people other than our guests. All events finish at 9pm. Please notice that a city tax of 2€ per person per overnight stay, not included in the total amount, will be charged and will have to be paid in check-in time.
