I have two 600 sf studio apartments that I have opened to ABNB. They are new and have all amenities. We have security systems and cameras. Parking in front except for King Biscuit when Cherry St. is closed. There is a lot immediately behind my building with provided parking passes. Guest will appreciate the location. It is the center of everything and guest can listen to King Biscuit music from the balcony. Our goal is to give guests a world class travel experience in Helena. The buildings were build in 1882 and are two of the oldest in Helena. Both buildings were completely rehabbed beginning in 2014 and we continue to make improvements. The original pressed metal façade is truly unique and one of the few remaining in Arkansas. Both buildings are on the National Registry of Historic Places. We provide glasses, coffee, coffee cups, coffer maker, pots, pans, plates, silverware. Water, beer, soda and wine (red and white) are stocked in your refrigerator. Complimentary chocolates. Guest have access to the front balcony anytime. There is a gas grill for guest to use. We recently completed a SunSetter Awning across the balcony which equals anything, anywhere (see pictures). There are tables and reasonably comfortable chairs. There is normally a gentle breeze blowing on Cherry St. Cognac and quality cigars are encouraged. Cindy and I will always make ourselves available to guests. We have traveled extensively and enjoy visiting with people from different parts of the world. We will visit with guests for as much or as little as the guests desire. It is very quiet and tranquil at night. Perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. Cindy and I, widow and widower, met on Cherry St just a few years ago and were married on the balcony in July, 2016. Reminder: Check out time is 10 am. Thanks We are located in the center of Cherry St within walking distance to many attractions. The balcony is the largest in the city and affords guests the best views in town. Taxi and Uber are limited however they really won't be needed. One can walk to restaurants and grocery store. It is a two block distance to the concert area. The Isle of Capri Casino is five minutes away by car. Helena has some of the best history in the US. Hernando DeSoto crossed the Mississippi at Helena in 1541 and he died near Lake Village in 1543. There were several Civil War battles that were fought in and around Helena and history buffs can spend enjoyable days touring the Civil War battle sites and graveyards. Helena has an almost mystical charm. It is a walkers and bikers paradise with several interesting trails. The Mississippi River is mesmerizing and just a short walk away. It is a wildlife and bird sanctuary. If you get real lucky you just might see an Ivory Billed Woodpecker or "Bubba," the legendary giant alligator that travels up and down the Mississippi. In one of the pictures there are nine eagles flying above Helena. Good Mojo for all that witness these beautiful birds in flight.
