Welcome to the Cedars and Cider Cottage, where you can relax under the cedars & maples that line Salt Creek (which runs on the property) or take a stroll on the 2.5-acre property, including the apple & cherry orchard 5 minutes from: -surfing at Crescent Beach -visiting the tide pools, otters, and World War II bunkers at Salt Creek Recreation Area -a refreshing stroll at Freshwater Bay where you might meet the seals -multiple hiking trailheads, including the Discovery trail PNW adventure awaits! The space This rural property is only 15 minutes to: Olympic National Park Visitor Center Downtown Port Angeles The Victoria ferry 5 minutes to: Joyce General Store Salt Creek Playground Apples should be ready for picking and cidering in September into early October if you want to join in the fun! Other things to note Smoking/vaping is not allowed. As of May 2025 there will be a separate campsite rented out on the property, isolated from the house to maintain privacy for both sites. Please do not use the living room fireplace. There is wall heating in each room. Please let me know if you need assistance with heating the house. The strength of the wifi can vary as expected of a rural property (ie allows video streaming). If you need more reliable wifi the NOLS Library in Port Angeles is available.
