Centrally located, you are a short drive to some of the most exciting attractions CapeBreton has to offer. Lake Ainslie is the largest fresh water lake in Nova Scotia and offers great fishing, bird watching, canoeing and has the most beautiful sunsets. The space; the cottage has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a double. There is a full bathroom with tub and shower. The kitchen is open to the living area and has a stove, microwave, fridge, toaster oven and coffee machine. In the living area there is lots of comfortable seating and a small dining table. Although there is a wood stove the main source of heat and air conditioning is a heat pump. The cottage is bright with lots of windows and a large deck overlooking the lake. There is a barbecue and shade umbrella on the deck as well as a fire pit by the water. The area; You will be 20km from the village of Inverness where you'll find amenities such as groceries, banking, laundromat, beautiful beaches and world famous golf courses. There is a small convenience store 4km north at Scotsville. Attractions; Within a 30-40 min drive you can be enjoying the breathtaking Cabot Trail, golfing on the world famous Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs courses, enjoying a tour at Glenora Distillery, exploring the Highland Village, or enjoying any number of local musical Ceilidhs. Need more adventure, try fishing, kayaking, hiking on the Canada trail, and horseback riding. Pets ( dogs only and maximum of one) are welcome but mustn't be left unattended.
