Suite 7 is an enormous 1 bedroom suite at The Humboldt Bay Social Club, a boutique hotel, bar, restaurant, and event space located on the shores of Humboldt Bay. The Suite 7 sleeps 4 and is ideal for families, couples, or bridal parties. Suite 7 is the largest of the 4 guest suites at The Social Club, a boutique hotel in a former WWII-era blimp base on Humboldt Bay. This suite at the Social Club features a two King beds. The suites each have a private bath and kitchenette with microwave, mini-fridge, electric tea kettle and french press. A selection of local provisions (coffee, chocolate and granola) are provided with your stay. The Bathhouse at Oyster Beach is open to all guests of Humboldt Bay Social Club, including those staying at The Social Club. The Bathhouse features an outdoor shower and sink and two clawfoot tubs, so you can soak under the stars. Each suite at The Social Club is outfitted with amenities to make your stay at the beach as relaxed as possible- a wagon, beach chairs, towels, blankets, a cooler and ice bucket for beverages. The Lobby Bar of the Social Club is open daily, and the Jetty Restaurant has rotating seasonal hours. Please visit our website for current hours. You will find a coupon for the Lobby Bar in your room upon check-in. In addition, guests are welcome to use the cornhole, fire pits, picnic tables and grills at the Social Club at anytime. Our off-site property manager is just a phone call away for any issues you may run into during your stay. We are located in the middle of the Samoa Peninsula, between Humboldt Bay and the Pacific Ocean. While it is just a short drive from both Arcata and Eureka, it is a rural area. The Social Club has 4 boutique hotel suites, a Lobby Bar, Jetty restaurant, and an outdoor picnic/grilling area. Across the street, our Oyster Beach property features 5 cabins, all of which are vacation or long term rentals, our Bathhouse, and beach. Right up the road is the county run Samoa Boat Ramp and Campground, popular with RV's. The north end of the Peninsula is home to the town of Samoa and a few popular beach access points. The southern end of the Peninsula is home to a Coast Guard Station, the North Jetty, and the entrance to the Samoa Dunes Recreation area. There are number of easily accesbile beach spots on both the Pacific side and the Humboldt Bay side. Always exercise caution when enjoying the Pacific Ocean, and please take care when exploring the North Jetty. A car is essential. Please let us know if you plan on bringing a pet. There is an extra $35 pet cleaning fee that you will be charged. If you bring a pet and do not let us know you may incur extra charges. Please refer to our pet policy under house rules.
